The Brim silos were painted by Guido van Helten and completed early in 2016. The Brim silo complex was the first silo artwork to appear in Victoria. After gaining widespread local and international attention, its success shone a spotlight on the Wimmera Mallee region and inspired the established of this Silo Art Trail. The silos depict an anonymous, multi-generational quartet of female and male farmers rendered across four 1939-built GrainCorp silos. The Brim silo is the only silo on this trail you can see at night, as it is illuminated by solar lighting.
