The Wilsons Promontory National Park, commonly known as Wilsons Prom or The Prom, is a national park in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia, located approximately 157 kilometres southeast of Melbourne.
The photos in my Wilson's Prom gallery are nearly 20 years' old and really do not do justice to the area, as they were simply snaps taken along the way, but I would like to include them as this was one of my favourite experiences and deserves to be included, and while not "Outback" it is a memorable and beautiful coastal area in the far south of the country.
The circuit walk, from Tidal River to Oberon Bay, The Lighthouse, Little Waterloo Bay, Refuge Cove, Sealers Cove, and back to Tidal River, stretches nearly 60 kilometres, and generally takes 3 days to complete.
